CIViC realizes the burgeoning and ever-expanding nature of visual culture in the establishment and concretion of the popular. Among the various strands that attempt to gauge the life of the nation, it seems popular visual culture offers one such avenue. We encourage individuals and institutions to engage in this field whereby a transnational forum for scholarly dialogue is created. Other than opening this collection for research access, we give research fellowships, conduct commissioned research, and invite scholars to work on our collection.
