We provide summaries on all our current research on this website, at no extra cost. Please first read through the available information to help you ascertain whether our research focus matches yours. Please browse the ‘Research & Abstracts’ section of the sidebar (on the right of your screen) to see the summaries in case you have not done so already.

Payment

We charge a nominal fee for this service. Please click here to see our table of fees to determine what might be applicable to you. Fees are both calculated and payable in INR. Details of payment methods and processing times, and cancellations & refunds are all available along with the fee chart.

Reliability

CIViC’s unique collections on popular art and culture are an extraordinary resource containing thousands of images and multimedia clips from a variety of sources, including small but stellar private collections that are otherwise inaccessible to the public. In many of these cases, we have been granted exclusive permission to retain these images on our database, purely for research purposes. In addition, the majority of our digital images are backed up by authentic originals. The quality of our source material is therefore difficult to parallel within the popular art & culture field.

We make extensive use of sources such as mainstream publications, print journals and notable image banks. Our location in New Delhi also gives us access to some of the best libraries in the country. Our Fellows, who have been personally appointed by Dr. Jyotindra Jain, will also verify the contents of each essay with Dr. Jain before reaching it to you. Important notice

Please note that material purchased by you is non-exclusive. this means that We reserve the right to provide the same or similar material to another researcher should it match his/ her requirements.

The research papers are for reference only and cannot be reproduced in any format or medium. They are meant to assist research, and hence can only be incorporated with appropriate acknowledgements made to the writer and CIViC (details will be provided with your paper). Please also note that research remains the intellectual property of CIViC. It is also mandatory for you to provide us with either a hard or softcopy of the material in which our paper is referenced.

Title and ownership, and all rights (now and in the future), of all content (i.e. both Research, Images and multimedia) rests exclusively with CIViC, unless otherwise specified.

If otherwise specified, it is the responsibility of the borrower to further determine and satisfy any copyright or other use restrictions (such as donor restrictions, privacy rights, publicity rights, licensing and trademarks) before publishing or otherwise distributing the materials.
